Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, I'm a Midwestern girl at heart. When I'm not geeking out over Marvel movies or cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes, I'm keeping up on the latest trends in media and communications strategies.
I received my bachelor's degree in Communication with an emphasis in Sports Communication from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. I also pursued minors in Spanish and Social Media Marketing (yes, my homework was actually to make posts on Facebook). I completed my Master of Arts in Communication with a focus in Mass Communication at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. I currently work in the field of higher education, helping institutions connect with a variety of educational stakeholders through key messaging. My passion is creating interesting, relevant and creative content on digital platforms to engage consumers with the brands and organizations that I represent. I have experience in social media management/analytics, website design, journalism, public relations, content creation and more. |
